In common terms I will say this is what you like or are interested in promoting such as health, sports, internet marketing, computers, fashions which could all be broken down to smaller niches. The search engines will show you the affiliate merchants that sell this product. The next stage is choosing your merchant.

Another Interesting method is to sign up as an affiliate through click bank. Why I prefer click bank is that they have been in the market for years and most merchants register with them. They also have a secured payment portal and the risk of getting your affiliate commissions compromised is less likely. Registration as an affiliate is up to you doing it directly through the affiliate merchant site or indirectly with click bank.

The good thing about affiliate marketing is that it’s free, so you don’t have to be bothered about investing upfront. Your next goal is to get your new found product to the market, ie getting targeted traffic to your product. Once that is done, making money is sure.
